pit bull project

responsible people. happy dogs.

We are a Seattle-based, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to:
  • Rescuing and placing adoptable American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and mixes of these breeds in suitable homes
  • Educating the public about the selection, care, and training of these breeds
  • Promoting responsible ownership practices

The Pit Bull project is NOT a shelter. Instead, we rely on a network of foster homes to ensure our dogs have every opportunity to become beloved family pets. And, our work would not be possible without your support. IT is through donations of various kinds whether monetary or time, that makes it possible to rescue these dogs which would otherwise be put down.

DOES YOUR PIT BULL REALLY NEED A NEW HOME? There's a big difference between being forced to give up your dog and wanting to get rid of your dog. Here's an article that can help: Finding a Home for your dog.
